Hi, I’m Silver, an author specializing in sci-fi and fantasy for YA and adult audiences. I dabble in all creative forms including poetry and nonfiction.

I currently exist in Indianapolis, but I originate from a city contained within a dimension that is always slightly larger than whatever it is compared to. Also known as League City (Houston), Texas.

While in Texas, I attended the University of Houston Honors College and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Human Development and Creative Work. I also served as a writing consultant at the UH Writing center.

After a long hiatus, I returned to writing and found myself waiting in the pages. Since then, I have published several short-stories in various journals and have greater works planned for the future. Until then, please enjoy the available works on my YA, fiction, and poetry pages.

Writing is my passion. Since young adulthood, I have always been scripturient.

scripturient (adj.)

having the insatiable need to write.

Stories for teens and preadolescents. Specifically beings who are burdened with the task of growing up, but would rather rebel against society and enjoy their fleeting childhood.

Stories for adults who have jobs and might live on their own, but don’t have a retirement plan. Mature themes abound.

Feelings, musings, and understandings of the world, conceptualized in an enriched lexicon.

On rare occasion, I like to write about real things. Real things about my life. Real things about books. Very, very rarely.

Throughout my writing, I focus on female perspectives, with great attention to the parts of femininity that have been shunned from canon literature. These include physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences.
